A Community-Powered Award. Honest by Design.

NBF awards 1–2 student-athlete scholarships at the end of each year. How many we give — and how much each is — depends entirely on how much we raise together throughout the year. It’s not a corporate grant program. It’s a community-powered award, and every campaign, donation, and partnership moves the number up.

How It Works

1. We fundraise all year. NBF runs campaigns with teams, athletes, and partners throughout the year. Every dollar raised goes into the foundation’s ability to give back.
2. We evaluate at year-end. Once we know what’s available, we select 1–2 deserving student-athletes whose stories stood out — on the field, in the classroom, or in their communities.
3. We announce and recognize the recipients. Winners are notified and publicly celebrated through NBF’s channels.

Want to Be Considered?

The best thing you can do right now is reach out and tell us your story. We’re not looking for a perfect GPA or a recruiting profile — we’re looking for athletes whose effort and character would impress anyone who’s ever played a game.
